Public Opinion

Demolocke’s Agenda Article/Post Caveat (Read First Please: Click the Link)

In comes to mind after my initial studies of the psychology of persuasion (Influence) that the principle of social proof is active in recent events involving the police and the deaths involved. I am now more understanding of the pressures being exerted on authorities to present information involving such tragic events involving them simply because of social media pressures as well as news media also triggering social proof principles. 

I can only assume that pressures will climb as more news footage and rhetoric are presented let along all those personal video’s are placed on social media. It doesn’t matter any more that to legally and morally process things to find the truth and all the facts, all that matters is to inflame our emotional centers to provide those who are misusing the media the egoistic self-serving self-stroking gratifications that people lean toward so heavily. It smacks of emotional and intellectual immaturity.
